    Podio para 'Checo' Pérez en el GP de México que gana Verstappen

    El piloto mexicano volvió a repetir entre los tres primeros en la Fórmula 1 y en su país.

    No pudo ser para Sergio 'Checo' Pérez en el Gran Premio de México al quedar en el tercer lugar con el 1-2 junto a Max Verstappen en el Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

    La Gran Fiesta en el GP de México fue total sin cereza en el pastel y que tuvo al campeón del mundo dominante con casi 15 segundos de ventaja en pista.

    'Checo' Pérez y Lewis Hamilton se enfrascaron en una calca de la batalla del año pasado en la lucha por el segundo lugar donde el británico contuvo al mexicano de nueva cuenta.

    Checo logró estar a menos de un segundo y con opción de DRS y terminó alejado a más de tres segundos por el desgaste de las llantas, mientras Verstappen voló toda la tarde.

    El neerlandés sacó casi 13 segundos de ventaja sobre Hamilton para que estos tres pilotos obtuvieran el podio, ante la afición mexicana que abarrotó el Foro Sol y el Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

    Yuki Tsunoda y Fernando Alonso fueron los únicos pilotos que abandonaron y ahora en esta ocasión no hubo un safety car en la pista y solo virtual safety car por primera vez desde que volvió el GP de México al calendario de Fórmula 1.

    Victoria 14 en la temporada de Verstappen que consigue un nuevo récord para una misma campaña al superar a Michael Schumacher y Lewis Hamilton que lograron 13 en su momento.
