El ex quarterback de la NFL, Michael Vick, ha expresado su interés en ser entrenador, así que este verano trabajará como asistente del entrenador en jefe de los Kansas City Chiefs, Andy Reid.

Vick pasó 13 temporada en la NFL, las primeras seis con los Atlanta Falcons, que recientemente le hicieron una despedida oficial.

Reid dirigió a Vick cuando el pasador jugó para los Philadelphia Eagles del 2009 al 2012.

En mayo, Vick dijo en el Howard Eskin Podcast que hablaría con Reid sobre trabajar junto a él.
"Sí, bueno, sólo quería saber qué pensaba, pero no hemos hablado desde entonces", indicó Vick. "Pero si pudiera dirigir con cualquiera, me encantaría comenzar con Andy si existiese una oportunidad. Obviamente, me encantaría con los Falcons también. Así que vamos a ver cómo resulta".

Vick fue el primer y único mariscal de campo en superar las 1,000 yardas terrestres en una temporada en la historia de la liga. Su época con los Falcons llegó a un abrupto final en el 2007 cuando fue sentenciado a 23 meses en prisión por dirigir un esquema de pelea de perros.

Regresó a jugar para los Eagles, fue nombrado Jugador Regreso del Año en el 2010 y llegó al Pro Bowl por cuarta ocasión en el 2010. En la temporada 2014 fue fichado por los New York Jets.
