Jones anunció su retiro en un video publicado en Twitter por los Packers. Jugó en 62 partidos en ocho temporadas en Lambeau Field, con 45 de sus 51 recepciones de touchdown con Green Bay.

Jones lideró la NFL con 14 anotaciones en 2012 mientras jugaba con los Packers. La campaña 2014 la jugó con los Oakland Raiders, única fuera de Wisconsin.
