    Atlanta sorprende remontando a New Orleans al final del partido

    Ni las tres intercepciones de Matt Ryan evitaron la victoria de los Falcons en un gran juego de la defensiva parando a los Saints y a Drew Brees.

    Los Atlanta Falcons se aferran a la vida y este jueves por la noche obtuvieron un importantísimo triunfo al vencer 20-17 a los New Orleans Saints en el inicio de la Semana 14 en el Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

    Aunque Matt Ryan tuvo un partido el olvido donde falló casi el 50 por ciento de sus 27 pases lanzados, incluidas tres intercepciones absurdas, al final el touchdown que conectó con Mohamed Sanu y el estupendo trabajo de la defensiva ayudaron a que los Falcons se llevaran la victoria.

    En cambio, Drew Brees había tenido un buen partido con 271 yardas y dos pases de touchdown, para Tommylee Lewis y Michael Thomas, pero un error suyo -lanzando una intercepción en la zona roja- definió el resultado en favor del local.

    Los Saints batallaron con muchas lesiones esta noche principalmente la de su corredor novato estrella Alvin Kamara quien tuvo que abandonar el encuentro tras recibir un golpe casco a casco, que lo mandó a los vestidores por protocolo de conmoción.

    La lesión de Kamara terminó afectando al otro corredor Mark Ingram quien no pudo rebasar las 100 yardas desde la línea de scrimmage ni conseguir una anotación. Por su parte, Devonta Freeman acabó con 91 yardas y un touchdown.

    Matt Bryant terminó alzándose como el héroe al convertir dos goles de campo, uno de 52 yardas cerca en el último cuarto que fue la diferencia para que los Halcones lograran remontar el marcador.
