    México cayó eliminado ante Arabia Saudita en Fase de Grupos del Mundial Qatar 2022 y Rafa Márquez, ídolo y leyenda de la selección mexicana pidió ser muy autocríticos y un proyecto serio a futuro para la Copa del Mundo del 2026.

    "Hay que pensar en generalizar un poco la situación, creo que venían de una mala preparación, resultados no tan buenos al final de esa calificación al Mundial, se llegaba con muchas dudas, la actitud de ese primer partido no me generó mucha confianza para decir que podíamos calificar a octavos de final, esta actitud que mostraron hoy debieron mostrarla ante Polonia.

    "Hay que hacer ahora un análisis para ver qué es lo que se tiene que hacer, preparar un proyecto porque no podemos darnos el lujo de tener una actuación como esta en nuestra propia casa", comentó el invitado de lujo de TUDN.

    Rafa Márquez pide ser realistas en cuanto al lugar que ocupa México en el futbol mundial a nivel de selecciones para poder trabajar desde cero y tener una mejor actuación en 2026 y el futuro.

    " Es un golpe fuerte para el futbol mexicano para darnos cuenta que no somos lo que somos porque no tenemos una buena organización, no tenemos buenos cimientos, no tenemos unas buenas bases para creernos lo que realmente somos. Ya nos ha rebasado Estados Unidos, ya nos está rebasando Canadá sin ser una potencia, entonces ¿qué es lo que tenemos que hacer?

    "Creo que hay que empezar desde cero, juntarnos todos para intentar hacer un buen proyecto porque esto no puede volver a pasar en el próximo Mundial que vamos a estar en casa".
