    LISBOA – El Benfica se llevó una victoria por la mínima al imponerse 1-0 al Borussia Dortmund en el partido de ida de los octavos de final de la UEFA Champions League disputado en el Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

    El griego Konstantinos Mitroglou volvió a hacerse notar en el Estadio da Luz al convertir el único gol del encuentro al minuto 48 en una jugada a pelota parada.

    Pizzi cobró un tiro de esquina desde la derecha, Luisão remató de cabeza a la altura del punto penal y el delantero griego controló el balón a dos tiempos y lo mandó al fondo de la red con algo de suerte.

    El Borussia buscó descontar el marcador y diez minutos después tuvo la oportunidad de empatar pero el gabonés Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, que no se cansó de fallar toda la noche, erró un penalti atajado por Ederson, que hizo estallar las tribunas del inmueble luso.

    Raúl Jiménez entró de cambio precisamente en sustitución de Mitroglou. El mexicano disputó los últimos 15 minutos del encuentro donde el Benfica se echó atrás para contener los embates de Pulisic y Reus, que se fueron en blanco.

    Al final el conjunto portugués aseguró el triunfo para visitar Alemania con mayor calma donde intentará marcar un gol de visitante para obligar al Dortmund a anotar dos goles. Benfica espera ser una de las sorpresas de los cuartos de final y ya dio el primer paso quitándole el invicto al equipo que avanzó como líder de su grupo por delante del Real Madrid.
