    Un gran gol en el tiempo añadido de la primera parte proporcionó la victoria ante el Watford al Liverpool para acercar la clasificación para la Liga de Campeones, en el encuentro que completó la jornada 35 de la Premier.

    El Liverpool aprovechó los tropiezos del Manchester City y el Manchester United en la jornada. No pasaron del empate ante el Middlesbrough y el Swansea y el conjunto de Klopp agranda su ventaja. Es tercero en la tabla el equipo de Anfield con tres puntos de renta respecto al City y cuatro sobre el United.
